Hello, everyone, welcome to our monthly roundup where we recap the exciting progress we've made over the past month. Let's dive into the latest updates for the month of October!
Tech/Product Updates
Starting with the Geyser Platform, we've successfully completed performance testing and made updates related to the upcoming Hydro Plus. We're currently in the UAT phase, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
On Hydro Plus itself, all the necessary smart contracts have been updated. We’ve already completed the staging deployment for phase one and are working on the next big update: upgrading the rewards system. What’s exciting here is that we'll have multiple reward pools for different categories of publishers, offering higher rewards for Hydro Plus users.
Scaling Enhancements are also a key focus:
- Optimizations to our queuing service are in progress, with some already live.
- Kafka partitioning passed performance testing, and we plan to go live in November.
- We’ve successfully completed a proof of concept for bot tracking and mitigation, with production deployment starting this month.
- Database partitioning has been successfully tested in staging, with production updates scheduled this week.
We’ve also rolled out production patches, including improvements to load balancing, enhancing overall platform stability.
Marketing Updates
Let's talk about the marketing side of things, where we've seen solid engagement and growth this month!
First up, Hydro Plus. We officially announced the launch, and we’ve had some exciting buzz building up with the release of a new blog article that dive into what Hydro Plus will bring to the table.
We also published the second part of our SUI series, where we explored Hydro’s innovative use of the SUI ecosystem. If you haven’t checked it out yet, it’s a must-read for understanding how we’re leveraging blockchain tech for better user experiences.
Organic Media
One article featured on Blockopedia, showcasing how Hydro is opening up a new pathway beyond traditional targeted ads.
Community Engagement
We wrapped up a few Zealy sprints, rewarding 10 winners with $500 each, keeping our community highly engaged as we gear up for more after the token generation event. It’s been a great way to maintain momentum.
On the content side:
We’ve been busy developing new collateral materials that detail Hydro’s updated features and how everything ties together—both commercially and technically. This content will soon be added to the website to make sure everything’s clear and easy to navigate.
Plus, we’re exploring new promotional channels, tapping into niche media that we haven’t tried before, targeting new regions for growth.
Social Media Growth
Our X/Twitter saw great activity, with replies up 300%, and even though impressions were slightly down by 5%, we still gained over 10,000 new followers, bringing our total to over 210K.
Telegram is growing too, with over 44,000 community members—a 700-member increase! Engagement is up across the board, including more messages and active members.
On Instagram, we reached 45.5% more accounts, and over on LinkedIn, we gained 237 new followers, reaching a total of nearly 20,000, with great search visibility.
Lastly, TikTok has been one of our surprise hits, with a 176% increase in audience reach, showing how diverse and dynamic our growth has been this month.
